QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, preferably a CPA
  • Strong background in Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Audit, and Philippine Taxation
  • With 3-5 years of progressive accounting or auditing experience
  • Preferably with experience working in a BPO company
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has relevant work experience in ISO-certified companies
  • Basic technical skills—able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications
  • Experience with financial systems such as QuickBooks or SAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process suppliers’ invoices, employee cash advances, reimbursements, and liquidations in compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying classifying, computing, recording, and posting accounts and employee payable
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve supplier billing issues
  • Ensure correct charging to expense accounts and cost centers by analyzing, computing, and recording correct journal entries
  • Prepare purchase orders
  • Prepare and monitor operating and SGA reports
  • Prepare bank reconciliation and other assigned balance sheet account
  • Prepare and file withholding tax remittances and Alphalist and other BIR related requirements
  • Assist in closing the books every month and year end
  • Assist in the preparation of various schedules requested by external auditors
  • Perform other tasks as required by the client
