Senior IT Support Staff

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge / Experience in Multilayer switching, Advanced Routing (Load Balancing, PBR, OSPF, etc.)
  • Knowledge / Experience in a Domain controlled environment, Active Directory, and Group Policy Management
  • Knowledge / Experience in Firewall Administration (Sonicwall, Fortigate)
  • Knowledge / Experience in Linux Server Administration
  • MCSA, CCNA, or CCNP certification preferred but not required

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure team responsiveness to all reported support cases,
  • Provide technical lead in issue resolution, ensuring that all support cases are resolved permanently and reasonably on-time with strict compliance to SLA in case resolution
  • Head research and development for undocumented resolution procedures
  • Reviews closed/resolved tickets and ensure that issue was resolved properly with the corresponding documentation requirement
  • Ensure that backup schedule is implemented without fail
  • Ensure that restoration procedures are well-documented and are followed with a checklist during implementation
  • Comply with Change Management Policies and Procedures
  • Provide the documentation requirement of a Change Request
  • Ensure that testing and verification is implemented in every change request
  • Maintain the baseline configuration documentation for the team and updates it as needed
  • Command compliance to all team members for the Configuration Management Process
  • Review and archive daily real-time status monitoring reports
  • Escalate deviations to the Head of IT using a report template
  • Ensure that the monitoring baseline thresholds are accurate and applicable to their usage
