Open Access BPO Kicks Off 2025 with 3 Bohemian Parties in 8 Days

Every year, multilingual Open Access BPO (OABPO) rings in the new year with a grand celebration, uniting its teams in a spirited kickoff that sets the tone for the months ahead.

More than just parties, these are moments for employees to come together, recharge, and step into the new year with renewed enthusiasm and a shared sense of purpose.

Our Taipei, Manila, and Davao teams kicked off the year with bigger parties than ever, celebrating within days of each other.

The celebrations, dubbed Wanderlust Bliss: The Open Access BPO Kickoff Party 2025, featured a Bohemian-inspired theme that embraces creativity, self-expression, and a free-spirited approach to new beginnings. The theme reflected the company s culture—dynamic, diverse, and unafraid to break the mold—setting the perfect tone for the year ahead.

The OABPO Taipei team’s party last January 24 was a triple celebration: cheers to a fruitful year, early festivities for the Chinese New Year, and a festive bash that congratulated OABPO Taipei on its 10th anniversary.

Company President Henry Chang and Global Vice President Joy Sebastian opened the celebrations held at the ILLUME Taipei Hotel.

Aside from the food and drinks, the attendees enjoyed lots of games at the party, including a dance contest and the Sugar Cookie Challenge (as seen on the show Squid Game).

OABPO Taipei employees who have been with the company for years were awarded with ang pao (traditional red envelopes containing cash) and special gifts, including vacuum cleaners, smartwatches, mountain bikes, electric blankets, and home appliances.

Bohemian Flair in Manila

On January 26, two days after the Taipei celebrations, the Manila team got dressed in their best Bohemian-inspired outfits and gathered at The Enderun Tent in Taguig City for their kickoff party. The party started in the afternoon, accompanied by reggae music from Open Access BPO’s long-time party buddy Collie Herb.

CEO Ben Davidowitz then took to the stage to jumpstart the festivities, thanking everyone for their hard work and dedication in 2024. He also hyped everyone up with the unprecedented raffle prize pool this year.

The excitement surged on as the first batch of raffle winners were announced, winning P5,000 each. The company then honored over 100 service awardees who have been with the company for the past five, 10, and 15 years.

The energy amped up as nominees for the Best Dressed Award strutted across the stage, each outfit showcasing bold colors, eclectic patterns, and the free-spirited essence of Bohemian style.

Shortly after that, the crowd erupted as Mayonnaise, the party’s special guest performers, launched into their set, rocking the stage with their hits like “Bakit Pt.2,” “Tayo Na Lang Dalawa”, and the anthemic “Jopay.”

But the fun didn’t stop there, as the next winners of the minor raffle prizes were announced, receiving gadgets including Bluetooth speakers and smartwatches. Next were the major prizes, with the lucky attendees winning cash prizes, tablets, high-resolution cameras, and several units of the coveted iPhone 16.

The lucky winner, amidst cheers and applause, drove home in the kickoff party’s grand prize: a brand-new Honda ADV160.

The night continued as DJ Sky s music filled the room, and with free-flowing drinks, the dance floor was alive with energy. Attendees danced the night away, celebrating the start of a new year with enthusiasm and joy.

An Awesome Decade in Davao

A week later, it was Team Davao’s turn to experience Wanderlust Bliss at the Acacia Hotel Davao’s Grand Ballroom on February 1.

Global VP Joy Sebastian was also present for the celebrations, congratulating OABPO Davao for their 10th anniversary this year. Sebastian also honored employees who have been with the company for five years.

Our Davao teammates also looked back at the highlights of 2024 while enjoying music from local act Jellyace Band.

One of the event’s highlights was the awarding of the Best Dressed Award. Nominated fashion-forward, Bohemian-garbed employees turned the stage into a catwalk.

Of course, raffle prizes were also given away to lucky winners including smartwatches, high-end cameras, and iPhone 16 units.

Then it was time to dance the night away with DJ Supreme taking over the stage.
