Open Access BPO’s steps to protect and support our teams and business partners amidst COVID-19.

Our Operations and Support teams have implemented safe work arrangements for our staff. Our seamless business continuity planning ensures that our clients receive uncompromised service.

Flexible Work During Community Quarantine

After closely monitoring the situation, we classified our employees into two groups: those who are working from home and those who prefer to work on-site.

Desktop units have been deployed for employees working from home. Their shifts will proceed as scheduled.

Those who have chosen to continue working at our offices are coordinating with their immediate heads and managers. With the community quarantine enforced over Luzon, however, we organized a skeletal workforce as permitted by our Program Managers and clients for our Makati sites.

Safe temporary housing has been provided for employees who live outside Makati City and have no access to a work from home arrangement.

Adjusted Payroll Policies

We recognize the passion of our staff even more during this crisis. They will also receive extra allowances and benefits based on their work setup.

Those who have applied for the national government s financial assistance will also be duly assisted.

Health Care And Preventive Measures In And Out Of The Workplace

The safety of our team will always be our top priority. We have implemented the following preventive measures to safeguard our frontline employees’ health and security amid COVID-19:

  • Sanitary and health measures such as disinfection of offices and temperature check upon arrival
  • Strict monitoring of social distancing within offices
  • Best practices of proper hand sanitation such as frequent hand washing and use of alcohol or gel sanitizer
  • Health care assistance such as teleconsultation and COVID-19 testing for at-risk employees will be accommodated by our health partner

During this unprecedented time, we encourage everyone to comply with the government’s and health organizations’ directives to help prevent the further spread of the COVID-19 virus.

The Open Access BPO Bazaar took place last Thursday and Friday at the company's Makati office, bringing employees together for a two-day showcase of homegrown products and personal ventures. The activity highlighted the creative interests of participating teams, who converted the site's cafeteria into a lively marketplace for colleagues to explore.

Employees offered a range of items that included ready-to-wear clothing, footwear, pastries, sweets, handcrafted paper goods, and assorted refreshments. A grilling station set up in the outdoor al fresco area provided freshly cooked Pinoy street food, giving attendees an additional point of interest throughout both days.

The company's barista DJs supported the event by serving coffee and playing music that contributed to a comfortable and welcoming environment for visitors.

The bazaar is part of the organization's ongoing #EmployeeEngagement program, which aims to provide meaningful activities that encourage connection, creativity, and pride within the OABPO community.

Open Access BPO recently concluded the Makati leg of its annual Blood Donation Drive, held in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross. OABPO Makati employees came together to donate blood and support this life-saving initiative, highlighting the #TeamOABPO's generosity and willingness to make a lasting impact beyond the workplace.

The company's Davao team will also hold its leg of the company's annual Blood Donation Drive on November 26.
