Open Access BPO, a multinational business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, announced that its flagship facility in Makati, Philippines received Safety Seal Certification from the Department of Trade and Industry.
This certification verifies that a Philippine-based company complies with the public health standards set by the government. It attests that a company has the appropriate health and safety measures to help curb the spread of COVID-19 as it continues operations.
“We have always taken steps to safeguard the health of our employees and everyone who visits our facilities,” said Open Access BPO CEO Ben Davidowitz. “This Safety Seal certification is the result of our health protocols ramped up when the pandemic erupted last year. We encouraged our people to work from their homes and have been implementing strict measures to ensure the safety of those who volunteered to work on-site.”
Some of the safety measures at Open Access BPO’s facilities in the Glorietta 2 Corporate Center include:
- regular office sanitation;
- prohibiting physical contact;
- requiring the use of face masks and other personal protective equipment;
- submission of health declaration forms before entrance;
- installation of non-contact temperature checks; and
- allocation of isolation areas for potentially symptomatic employees.
“Our Safety Seal Certification reflects our commitment to upholding our responsibilities to our clients, our employees, and our community.” Davidowitz added. “Open Access BPO joins thousands of businesses in the ongoing fight to stem the mounting COVID-19 cases.”
